The Interconnect Technology Suppliers Association held its first meeting of 2019 on the 10th April at Chartridge Lodge in Buckinghamshire and was attended by 16 members including HARWIN who are the latest company to join the association.
Once again we had an excellent open forum discussion on the state of
the interconnect industry and the UK market as a whole.
In 2018 members reported every quarters revenues were higher than the corresponding quarters in 2017 resulting in the “above average” growth. This was achieved despite the uncertainties surrounding BREXIT.
2018 was the third year in a row where our members showed an average double digit growth. The Defence, Aerospace, Space and Mass Transport markets were significantly up and the release of key projects also contributed to the positive performances.
Value add continues to be an important part of members revenue streams and in 2018 significant growth was achieved in this area.
In summary members have had an extremely positive 2018 despite all the
2019 appears to have started on a positive note.
